There’s one element that the rush of future bass music we are seeing in 2016 is missing, some proper lyrical goodness to the beats to do true justice. That’s precisely what Woodie Smalls is doing. Yet, “Planet Shrooms” is far from the first thing Woodie Smalls has done, but is easily one of my favorite tracks he’s made so far. The solo artist is more recently making moves in Europe, stopping by plenty of places during summer.
The dude is clearly active, his Facebook profile is filled with snapshots of dope moments currently going on with him. Pretty impressive. If you’re a fan of Lido, Kendrick Lamar, and brand-new music, “Planet Shrooms” is for you.
