Chicago-based duo, X5IGHT have become increasingly prominent figures in the dance music industry, having established themselves in the scene, and accumulated a dedicated fan base by means of several noteworthy remixes, bootlegs, and some striking original tunes. Renowned for their ability to retain their signature style whilst still experimenting within a wide range of genres, Brandon and Jerry (who comprise X5IGHT) have just treated fans to the early release, and free download of their inventive new Progressive track entitled “The Luckiest Man”, off of their forthcoming 5:00 Shadow EP.
Exemplary of their versatility as producers, “The Luckiest Man” is a grooving, uplifting assemblage of musical styles, bringing together a pulsing classic House beat with a catchy melody voiced in rich, vivacious synthesizer sounds. Punctuated by a unique vocal sample echoing throughout, X5IGHT allows a little bit of grit to shine through the tune at times, and builds upon the traditional House music sound to produce a fresh, innovative, and distinctive track.
