XS Nightclub kicked off 2015 with a refreshing facelift. Not to long ago the Las Vegas club was in the midst of a two-year renovation project, an effort that boasted a refreshing $10 million worth of new lighting, sound effects and technology. These new systems are top-of-the-line SJ Lighting equipment, a company that was recommended to the club by Insomniac’s Pasquale Rotella.
With those additions have come a large pyrotechnic/laser system and high-resolution LED video screen along with a new 360-degree DJ booth. However, not to worry, the owners also didn’t forget to revamp the lighting on the dance floor and in the pool area as well.
These changes easily make the XS Nightclub one of the hottest nightlife destinations in Las Vegas, and perhaps country-wide.
“Our vision was to go into this new era of EDM and have the best visuals We made it so you can change the elements for each DJ, customize sets for each DJ and make atmosphere and mood changes. We knew we had to do it. A little bit of it was pressure from the DJs. When you travel around the world and go to the likes of Ushuaia and Pacha in Ibiza, they have different technologies that we don’t have.” – Jesse Waits, managing partner of XS and Tryst Nightclub.
Jesse Waits also stated that the nightclub was waiting to see what the likes of Hakkasan and Dari’s had up their sleeve before making a big renovation move. She said, “we wanted to be strategic, because we didn’t want to be the same as everyone else,” said Waits. “It’s such a competitive market that it’s required now to have that kind of technology.”
