Earlier this month, Y-DAPT released his “Want You” single and VIP via Flowing NRG. Similar to the chameleon in the graphic, Y-DAPT obtains a type of chameleonic musical palette and diverse skillset. In these two tracks, listeners can hear an eclectic assortment of breakbeat, hip hop, and bass set in a futuristic acoustic landscape.
Despite the two songs being linked by their identical sound designs, each contains a distinct vibe that is perfect for different environments. While the original mix of “Want You” is perfect for a more fast-paced festival scene, the VIP takes the track more underground to a traditional warehouse party. This original mix and VIP have been in the works since 2014, and it was well worth the wait!
