Music brings us together. It’s one of the most beautiful forms of art because it allows listeners to put aside their differences and come together to discovery the positive vibrations within a simple melody. The UR1 Music Festival is gathering the most talented musicians from around the world and bringing them to Miami to celebrate one of our favorite art forms. The idea is to congregate listeners of all genres to unite us “…As one through Art & Sound—the world as 1.”
UR1 will take place December 8th in 9th in Bayfront Park, located in Miami. The line up is absolutely ridiculous with classic acts such as The Offspring and Jane’s Addiction. Even Kanye West will be there ballin’ so hard, but our focus is EDM. BBC Radio’s own Pete Tong will be performing, in addition to Erick Morillo, Bob Sinclar, Luciano, and Arty.

It’s amazing to see a diverse collection of DJ’s UR1 is hosting in the EDM sector of this festival. Another awesome aspect of the UR1 lineup and the Miami mentality is the filthy underground selection. If you’re familiar with the Ibiza scene, Circoloco is hosting a lineup featuring artists, Seth Troxler, Dyed Soundorom,and The Martinez Brothers. Or, you could head over to Cocoon Heroes to catch the infamous Dubfire, Carl Craig, and Guy Gerber. Finally, the Space Miami Arena will host Boris, Chus and Ceballos, LA Riots, and David Tort.
Needless to say, that line up is pretty extensive but this diverse group of artists has one thing in common— their passion for music. This festival is giving visitors the opportunity to discover different genres of music, all of which are at their fingertips, literally. The trailers of this fresh concept are leaving viewers in awe,promising fans a journey of emotion and expression.
