Yves Larock has tapped Steff Da Campo to recreate his past hit, “Rise Up,” this time dubbing it “Rise Up 2021.” The single features a refreshed beat more fit for today’s era, yet still contains the original topline featuring vocalist Jaba. It’s hard to escape the memories that “Rise Up,” triggers, reminding of the years way back when that this single was released, along with where we were all at in our lives at the time.
This version is absolutely uplifting, heart-warming, and does the original justice when compared side by side. On top of all this, the single is once again released on Spinnin’ Records, one of the most prestigious electronic labels in the world.
Yves Larock had an amazing year in 2007, the same year that “Rise Up,” was released. The single climbed the charts in multiple territories, was played out by all the big DJ’s of the time, and the like.
The single has already received one remake in 2016, thanks to deep house artist LVNDSCAPE and now again with the reveal 2021 version, the legacy of the track continues in a fitting manner, a win-win overall for all parties involved.
With many of the components built in to make it go off in the club, but plenty of radio-centric aspects blended in as well, “Rise Up 2021,” is a fun experience not to be missed.
