As we march forward in the digital age of music, lines between genres become more blurred. Endless combinations of music genres are making appearances, many of which are innovative, mind-blowing, and will remain in our favorites playlists for the long term.
“Snow White,” an Armada Music-signed single created by Zack Martino and Kyle Reynolds, is a principle example of this hyper-blending of genres that continues to be seen.
In their case, the worlds of 2000’s pop punk and electronic have come to head. House music-influences colliding with guitar chugs and emo-tinged vocals being a focal point. The combination is unequivocally infectious, triggering nostalgic emotions, head-banging moments, and it being presented in video form as well to top it all off.
The video for “Snow White,” features a female main character without a care in the world and living the punk-rock life. Ready to have a good time and be the life of the party, everything from hooking up with the band, getting arrested, drinking, and fully-clothed pool dives all come to fruition in this fast-paced and ambitious music video.
It takes bravery to be different and try out new things, but Zack Martino, Kyle Reynolds, and Armada Music will one day have a major pay off for this electric music experience at hand.
