Around a month ago Zedd’s hit record, “Clarity”, achieved gold status, selling 500,000 copies. Now just the other day he announced via Twitter that “Clarity” has shot up to Platinum ranking. Selling 1,000,000 copies of a tune is a massive achievement for any artist, so many congratulations to Anton.
However like many of you I’m not surprised by this, considering every time I turn on the radio there is a 75% change that “Clarity” is playing on one of my five programed stations. Also, you can’t go to a music festival without hearing an edit or remix of his track at least two or three times. The support he has gotten is amazing, it reminds me of when Afrojack’s “Take Over Control” took over airwaves across the states.
Regardless, Zedd has worked very hard, having performed “Clarity” on several talk shows as well as releasing an official music video along with a remix pack. There is no doubt, this landmark achievement is well deserved.
