Hands down, the biggest story and new artist of 2014 is ZHU. His single “Faded” has turned into an international smash, reaching #1 chart positions in Australia, Germany, and the UK, among a number of other territories.
Enigmatic yet tastefully refined, the LA based singer/songwriter/producer recently debuted an incredible live show across Australia for Listen Out Festival and announced his US debut, set for Hard Day Of The Dead in Los Angeles.
Yesterday the internet began buzzing with photos of cryptic posters (pictured above) showing up all over the Big Apple. Marked simply with his notrious “Z” painted across the Brooklyn Bridge, two dates (November 21/22) were the only information provided. Naturally, rumors are beginning to swirl that he could be coming to the city, or does this phenomenon have a deeper meaning? If we’ve learned anything about ZHU, it’s that he is as unpredictable as he is mysterious.
With all the garnered hype right now, you would have to argue that tour dates in the states MUST be coming. We will update with any information as it comes in, but for now…here’s a look at how much the internet loves the man who vows to put the music first.
