Nearly a month ago SFX Entertainment had declared bankruptcy in order to clear the ill fated company of more than $300 million in debt. With no official announcement appearing about the Georgia based festival, fans were becoming skeptical. Today, TomorrowWorld announced via their Facebook that the sister festival of Tomorrowland would not be returning to Atlanta for 2016.
This would have been the fourth installment of the massive three day festival. Plagued by unfortunate weather that left many patrons stranded in 2015, this is just not TomorrowWorld’s year. This is a sad day for the electronic community as a whole. Perhaps 2017 will bring better fortune for TomorrowWorld.
