Ultra is always packed with surprises, many of which are occurring ahead of the events. Two headlining topics have been new location change and their massive and diverse lineup shared through phase one and phase two lineups. Given the popularity around the event, we wanted to share four artists to not miss at Ultra Music Festival. It’s hard to only select a few as there is a generous amount global juggernauts and tons of fast-rising artists performing this year
NGHTMRE b2b SLANDER
At UMF last year, NGHTMRE and SLANDER delivered on an incredibly filthy set, and this year the artists return to ignite the masses yet again. As the spearheads of their Gud Vibrations brand and record label, the veritable trio know just what it takes to provide audiences with all the bass they can handle. Since meeting at the esteemed Icon Collective, NGHTMRE and SLANDER have released numerous collaborative works and have frequently toured together as headlining acts. With their solid body of work, and undeniable chemistry as producers and performers, this back-to-back set is one that UMF attendees will not want to miss.
Illenium
Though Illenium has made a name for himself with his emotionally driven melodic bass sound, his live performances are as bone-shattering as they are passionate. Following a number of sets at UMF Mexico, UMF Singapore, EDC Orlando and many more last year, the artist will be performing as a live headliner this year in Miami. With a discography featuring collaborations with names such as Kill The Noise and Excision, as well as Seven Lions and Said The Sky, attendees can expect a truly diverse experience from Illenium. Prepare to get hit in the feels, sing along with memorable anthems, and headbang all in the same set.
Party Favor
With a couple of UMF performances under his belt, Party Favor is no stranger to getting Miami hyped. With his most popular releases harvesting well over 91 million streams on Spotify alone, the artist knows how to churn out bangers. He has collaborated with the likes of Dillon Francis, Gucci Mane, Sean Kingston, Rich The Kid, Gent & Jawns, Georgia Ku and more, and has performed at events including Hard Summer Music Festival, Nex Music Festival, Electric Love, and Tomorrowworld. With his infectious signature sound creating massive demand across the planet, Party Favor’s UMF 2019 set will be a crowd pleaser to say the least.
GRiZ
For attendees looking to get funky at UMF this year, GRiZ is sure to deliver on that front. Fans are well aware of the fact that his unique live shows feature as much organic instrumentation as bass. With his self-described future-funk sound, the artist provides a blend of knocking beats and uplifting brass that is a sure-fire party starter. With a number of performances under his belt in support of acts such as Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, and more, his headlining tours, and now iconic Big Grizmatic sets alongside Big Gigantic and Gramatik, the founder of All Good Records is sure to bring nothing but good vibes to the table at Ultra this year.
