On November 11th, 2014 deadmau5 took to the Honda Stage, which was put together inside of the Knockdown Center in Queens, New York, to put on an intimate, free concert for the big apple’s most dedicated mau5 lovers.
The show started at 7:30 with the sounds of Eekkoo before transitioning to deadmau5 at around 9:00 PM. Once Joel hit the stage you could feel the energy inside of the venue rise, his presence was quite remarkable. He took to the mic to utter a few works before letting the music speak for itself.
Joel unleashed remixes, edits and original tracks from his refreshing #5YearsOfMau5 compilation. These records included Dillon Francis’ remix of “Some Chords,” Cobra Effect’s remix of “Maths” and mau5 originals such as “Phntoms Can’t Hang” and “Seeya.”
Below are some clips from his performance with a bonus upload of the entire set. Do yourself a favor and dive in. If you enjoy what you hear you can purchase the full compilation album here.
