We could say we’ve heard it through the grapevine that Australia-based DJ Alex Preston has released a bootleg of Marvin Gaye’s famous hit “Heard It Through The Grapevine”. The track, which showcases the new sound embraced by the DJ is fusing the original track’s vocals and instrumentation with a new, crisp and funky drum beat. Preston takes an interesting approach to an oldie but goldie track to create a sophisticated release which is sure to be heard at various events once the festival season commences. The bootleg is sure to make you nostalgic for the old times but we’ve got a cure for that: listen to it on repeat!
