Out right now on Ultra Music is the enchanting new piece of work from French producer BGRZ, who presents “Agolo” as his debut for the international platform. He has given the 1994 Angelique Kidjo a beautiful, tropical-edged remake, and it stands alone as a fantastic first single release.
With the original seeped in African roots and bursting with expressive lyrics, BGRZ has served up a sophisticated and warm edit. Kidjo’s vocals are still the focus point of the track, but he has given it a little m0re dance floor direction, looping in a catchy beat and textured drum work to enhance its natural vibes.
