APASHE continually surprises us with his projects, fully apparent in his music and now blatantly obvious in the music video for his lead single “Fuck Boy” featuring Kandle, which is featured on his upcoming Copter Boy album to be released September 30th. With the current state of fear regarding the upcoming presidential election, the video, directed by Jérôme de Gerlache and produced by Rita Films shows this artist’s stance and clear distaste for the presidential nominee. What begins as an obvious rally lead by the oaf that is Donal Trump himself, quickly turns into a ridiculous yet hilariously entertaining representation of Trump’s platform, which has shown to objectify women, and promise to “Make America Great Again,” with a strip tease and signs that boast “Free Gas” and “No taxes.” As artists continue to speak out via Social Media regarding the upcoming election, APASHE’s creative and daring version surely makes a bold statement, but keeps an air of fun and a much needed comical break in what has become a serious concern.
