ARC Music Festival returns to Chicago’s Union Park in just a couple of days, September 2-4, and we’ve got some exciting news! The festival has just announced its official ARC Art installation partners and a production contest hosted by Chicago’s own house legend, Gene Farris.
ARC’s objective has always been to deliver a fully immersive festival experience to the birthplace of house music. Since it’s debut in 2021, event organizers have done just that, but this year, they’re expanding tenfold.
This year’s Art at ARC programming will include work from Michael Benisty, as he brings his twenty-one foot, fire spouting mirrored steel figure, ‘Rise’, to ARC. Wood installation artist, Chris Carnabuci will be following suit with his twenty-six foot Mariposita installation, which was originally created for exhibition at Burning Man 2019. Toy Studio will be brightening up the festival with some colorful flare, as they showcase their ‘Circle of Light’ installation. Finally, ‘Reared in Steel’ with the iconic ‘Lions of Steel’ gothic figurines.
In other exciting news, Gene Farris has partnered up with ARC to give producers a chance to win a track on his famed, Farris Wheel Recordings, as well as two three-day GA passes to ARC. If you’re interested in entering the contest, be sure to submit your best unreleased track by today. Contest details can be found here!
