We’re really enjoying the latest release to drop through WAKAAN. Sounding like disco bumped into future bass on a night out is “Funk Ain’t Even,” and production comes courtesy of Au5 – who had an amazing LP out this year – and Nasty Purple.
Describing it, Au5 says this is “the inner philosophy of funk, reimagined within the context of heavy bass music. We’ve made modern EDM production bear funk’s imprint, creating something uniquely tangible yet allusive.”
