Deep Dubstep Artist “Um..” is Bringing the Heat to Big Dub Festival 2018

If the sound of wildly unpredictable, glitched out, deep dubstep is music to your ears – enter the world of um.. the Portland, OR based duo who have been exploring the realms of deep dub since 2014. After attending LA-based music production school Icon Collective, Ben Bruce and Dylan Gold teamed up to introduce their brand of experimental bass music into the area’s thriving electronic music scene. The tw0 share a belief that there is a creative void in the electronic music space their music can fill, and tracks like “I Don’t Know,” “Don’t Copy Us,” and “This Is Our Last Song” speak to the group’s dedication to innovation.

Their tracks are marked by playful and sarcastic voice samples, Eastern-influenced beats and a tendency to explore the darkest depths of low-end music. And the formula seems to be working – since 2014, the duo has made appearances at some of the biggest electronic festivals around the globe – including Shambhala, Coachella, and Electric Forest. Now, they’ll bring their talents to Artemas, PA for a set in the mountains of Big Dub Festival – and we can’t wait to hear what’s in store.
