Today we get a new release by Big Gigantic entitled “Love Letters” featuring Sabrina Sciubba of NYC group Brazilian Girls, and it may not be what you were expecting from the high-energy, bass-heavy duo. “Love Letters” has a steady beat, but long, spacey synths draw out this 80’s-esque love ballad. The soft, contralto vocals of Sabrina Sciubba add a tone of despair to this song of unrequited love, with some low synths towards the middle of the track, accompanying an emotional chorus. Dominic Lalli’s saxophone playing adds a nice touch of style to the this track as well, with drawn out notes.
