“Sometimes,” by Blest Jones and Thalia Falcon, is pulsing with nostalgic lyrics singing of unrequited love. Both Blest and Thalia’s beautiful, almost desperate vocals smoothly surf along the beat. Blest, who is from the DMV area, began doing music professionally in 2015, eventually meeting fellow artist Whethan, who helped further his career, in part.
After a successful release with “Pressure,” which appeared on Spotify’s Creamy Tracks playlist and was widely-acclaimed, a new collaboration with Thalia Falcon has surfaced, decadent with longing and sorrow. The essence of “Sometimes” is happy music paired with sad lyrics, and it hit’s with grace.
