Champagne Drip fans have been waiting at the edge of their seats for his latest and we are happy to report IT’S HERE! Combining forces with hypnotizing Los Angeles-based vocalist LINNEY, Champagne returns to WAKAAN, for his latest, “In My Dreamz”.
Sam Pool AKA Champagne Drip carved out a unique place for himself in the bass music community spending over 10 years performing under the moniker of SPL. The Los Angeles-based producer released drum and bass, dubstep, and other styles of bass music on respected labels such as Barcode, Tech Itch, Evol Intent, Rottun, SMOG, and his own label Hollow Point recordings.
In 2014, wanting to evolve musically and realizing he had pushed the SPL project to its sonic boundaries Sam spent time refining his sound and dropping undercover hits like “Remix Bikini” and “Journey Into The Champagne Sea”. The press went wild wondering just who was dropping these drips of bass magic.
We finally said goodbye to SPL and the Champagne Drip saga was born in 2016. Rooted in jungle and bass music, Champagne Drip launched as a noticeably aquatic and uplighting project.
Since then he’s been staying busy with nationwide tours playing at some of the top festivals, multiple EPs released across Deabbeats, Bassrush, and Wakaan as well as remixes for What So Not, Skrillex, Black Tiger Sex Machine, and Sullivan King. His latest single “In My Dreamz” is the lead track to a 5-track “Champagne Trip” EP which features the bass energy Champagne Drip is widely known and adored for but also some pop-leaning vibes with his collaboration with LINNEY on “In My Dreamz”.
Considered “a star in the making” by Indietronics, LINNEY’S dreamy voice, impeccable singer-songwriter talent, and uncut passion has kept her moving fast on the success train. Her music has been played across multiple platforms including New Music Friday, Mint, Dance Rising, Best New Pop, Brand New Chill, Top 10 on Apple Music in Finland, Ireland, The Netherlands, Thailand, and New Zealand. She’s been featured across multiple TV shows like Riverdale, Sabrina Ghosted, and more! Known for her “Sharp and catchy lyrics that’ll be hard to get out of your head” (Popwrapped), it’s no wonder the LA-Based artist has collaborated with world-renowned electronic producers like Gareth Emery, Tritonal, Ummet Ozcan, and Project 46, and now Champagne Drip!
Champagne Drip and LINNEY’S latest “In My Dreamz” comes with some pop-leaning vibrancies and lyrics that anyone can relate to. It’s that song you play on repeat because it relates to how you feel about that one person you just cant dust off. The song takes you on a journey to a higher dimension with drops of bass and drips of trance-like melodies as you float through LINNEY’s melodic vocals.

Wanna catch Champagne Drip live? Sam hit the road again on August 13 in Fort Lauderdale and ends on December 18 in Fargo. Other cities in this 50+ date tour include Orlando, New Orleans, Houston, Boston, among other major cities. Many stops feature direct support from WAKAAN talents such as DMVU, Jaenga, MIZE, Sully, or VEIL.
