The emerging LA-based producer made his debut with a stand-out remix of Mary J. Blige’s “Real Love,” and followed it up with an outstanding take on Mariah Carey’s “Emotions.” Within the last year, Christofi has become a fixture in the Los Angeles dance scene, playing infamous parties like Space Yacht on his way to becoming one of the most promising house producers on the West Coast. The latest output from Christofi is another throwback classic brought to the present, as the talented musician has given Baby Bash’s hit, “Baby, I’m Back” his future house flair.

Christofi speeds up the tempo of the 2005 R&B hit, and Baby Bash’s recognizable verses fit right in with the thumping kicks, silky smooth basslines, and bouncy piano melodies of the remix. Christofi manages to keep the feel of the original, and you’ll notice as the wave of nostalgia brings back memories of your childhood years, but morphs the track into a future house heater that’s more fitting for the present.
