The Fox Stevenson brand has always been one of warmth and communion, it’s no wonder Fox has morphed his one-of-a-kind style into an label experience. If you’re unfamiliar, Fox Stevenson created Cloudhead Records in 2013, a place where fans of his melodic, yet energetic bass style can experience an extension of what they already love.
Releasing December 29th, “Cloudheaded Vol. 1” will be Cloudhead Records’ first big unveiling of the Cloudhead style and taste – a moment where fans will get to fully grasp what the label really is.
The album will feature 7 tracks, 5 of which are brand new artists (Feint, Adam Tell, IMLAY, Jikes, and Torin Dundas) and 2 have been previously released via Cloudhead Records (Fox Stevenson and Rob Gasser.)
In celebration of the new EP, Cloudhead Records is holding a special album release party via Plug.dj. All artists featured on the album will be dishing out special sets in light of the release – the event will start December 29th at 3PM EST; you can find the link to the release party here.
Fox also decided to give WRR a special Christmas treat, allowing us to premiere Feints “Signs” off of “Cloudheaded Vol. 1.”
“Signs” begins with gradual, soft keys teasing the chorus. Soon after, a mixture of orchestra instruments, synth leads, and vocoders fall together as the tempo picks up. The drop leads to a surprising mixture of trap and bass-filled melodies, the second drop takes vibes up a notch with a sick drumstep section.
“Signs” is a staple in the “Cloudheaded Vol. 1,” acting as a unique, diverse part in the album story.
