At only 16 years old, producer Cole Plante has accomplished a significant amount in his career, being the first EDM artist signed to Hollywood Recordings, and having made history at Lollapalooza as the youngest performer to have ever played the festival. Cole was also filmed before Lollapalooza for a 6-episode Vevo docu-series called Cole Plante: Unfiltered. He has also played several other major events such as the 2012 Identity Festival Tour, and Red Bull’s Summer X Games 2012. Under the tutelage of renowned DJ and producer Paul Oakenfold, Cole has been busy in the studio this past year with Perry Farrell, and is scheduled to release his EP, entitled “Colektiv“, in November (listen to the preview here).
Cole Plante has just released the remix EP for his killer track “Lie To Me”, which is comprised of some noteworthy, and very distinct remixes from R3hab, and Juventa. “Lie To Me” is collaborative track with Myon & Shane 54, and vocalist Koko LaRoo. It can now be heard on Sirius XM’s ‘BPM’ satellite radio station, and took the #4 Breakout spot on Billboard‘s Club Play chart, as well as the #2 spot for the most added record of last week.
R3hab brings his bold style to “Lie To Me”, delivering an invigorating remix with hard beats, and grinding bass to juxtapose LaRoo’s smooth vocals.
On the other hand, Juventa takes a more melodic approach, bringing bright synth stabs, and rhythmic vocal chops. The “Lie To Me” remix package will be available exclusively through Beatport for 2 weeks (from October 22 to November 5).
