Congorock gives Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds’ an electro makeover

First we get an excellent trap remix of Rihanna‘s ‘Pour It Up’ by RL Grime and now have a stunning remix of Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds’ by Congorock, life is good. Rocco Rampino (Congorock) is currently traveling around the world with Rihanna, so it’s only polite that he gives the lead single on her new album, ‘Unapologetic’, an electro facelift.

Rampino completely reworks the record by pulling out the soft piano and heavenly strings. Then he speeds up the vocals, inserts a dark drum pattern with some choppy electro sounds, and finishes off the tune with an insane drop to make it suitable for the dance floor.
