Croatia Squad Stirs Up Fiery Remix of Luca Debonaire’s ‘Walking On Clouds”

2017 has already graced us with many hot tracks, but nothing’s got us more fired up this month than Croatia Squad’s remix of Luca Debonaire’s “Walking On Clouds.” Out now on Enormous Tunes, Croatia Squad takes the quality sound of the original house mix and drops in a deep baseline, a few massive build-ups, and not-so-subtly makes way for a cow bell cameo. As is tradition, he slowly pulls you into a groove with a tease of a smooth beat. But when the first drop hits, you’ll find it nearly impossible to not let your freak flag fly high.

The Swiss DJ behind this fiery remix is Alejandro Torres, a.k.a Croatia Squad. His music fluctuates seamlessly from tech house, to deep house, to disco, consistently delivering mixes that feature deep bass and elements of his signature nu-disco beats, those which originally launched him into the spotlight throughout Europe. Over the past few years, he’s conquered the club scene overseas by playing some of the most praised venues, like Ministry of Sound in London and Privilege in Ibiza, and both his originals and remixes have seen success on Beatport’s Top 100. Croatia Squad’s most recent 4-track EP, Waking Up The Neighbors, showcases his trademark house sounds while dabbling into some Future House tunes and Hip-Hop, surely convincing us that he’s got a hell of a lot more hits up his sleeve.
