Recently we learned that Daft Punk‘s new album will be titled ‘Random Access Memories‘ and it is expected to release on May 21st, 2013. I was finally happy to hear some solid, truthful information. Just when I thought the pair were done dropping previews (at-least for a while) and hints about their project – I was wrong.
Last night on SNL yet another D.P. commercial was aired. The commercial came with a fifteen second preview of what I believe to be another record off of their album. If you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard either previews, I’ve embedded both after the break. I don’t know about you, but I’m going to start watching SNL religiously.
Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, Thomas Bangalter, and their MGMT have also launched RandomAccessMemories.com – a branch off of DaftPunk.com. The website opens with a snip of their new music and hosts links to the Columbia Records website along with links to share information about Daft Punks new domain on Facebook and Twitter.
