What Dani Deahl did with tyDi’s “Live This Lie” track is truly something deserving attention. The original is an enjoyable, but much slower paced, girl power ballad of sorts, designed to run to when you catch your boyfriend cheating. The Dani Deahl Bootleg however is seriously a club banger. As in, I’m trying to be in a sweaty crowd just going all out to this track. The bigger build and bass drop was just what the doctor ordered.
The simple and familiar drum intro flows gracefully into the soft yet intriguing vocals of Carmen Keigans for a flawless start to the bootleg. The build and drop out of the chorus was warmly welcomed, but somewhat expected.The track is catchy, hauntingly upbeat, and 95% guaranteed to remain trapped in your head for days to come. This Chicago producer is a rising electro star who’s sure to continue blowing our minds with killer tracks. We will be anxiously awaiting more sick beats from Dani.
