Having played a role in the development of this event, it has been announced that iconic Canadian producer, deadmau5, will be returning to VELD Music Festival to play a headlining set this summer. Set to take place in Toronto, Ontario, this will be the fourth annual instalment of this festival, which has risen up to flourish as one of the most prominent events in Eastern Canada.
As deadmau5 is often viewed as a symbol of this event, having headlined the first two editions, many were surprised that he was not booked to play VELD 2014. Although last year’s event was enjoyable nonetheless, attendees will undoubtedly be glad that he will be making an appearance this year, which will span over two days for the August long weekend, August 1 & 2, 2015.
Expanding to feature two stages of distinctive styles, the 2014 edition of VELD Music Festival brought in some of the dance music scene’s most illustrious names, including Knife Party, Armin van Buuren, Nero, GRiZ, and Gramatik, just to name a few. The rest of the VELD 2015 lineup will be revealed in the coming weeks, and festival-goers should definitely be looking forward to what they’ve got in store.
Tickets will be going on sale on VELD’s website beginning this Thursday, February 19th at noon, EST, with an exclusive pre-sale beginning on Wednesday at noon, EST for American Express clients.
