Deadmau5 has been quite active lately. The most recent and exciting interaction, may be his attempt to court Zedd (via twitter) for an official remix of a new track he’s finished. While it’s tough to decode the sarcasm online, I find it hard to believe that Zedd would turn down, or be too busy for an opportunity like this; Especially when it looks like the mau5 is brewing up a concrete return to glory, days away from the end of his contract with Ultra Records (which he has despised).
Other Recent Deadmau5 Activity
- Yesterday he announced that mau5trap has partnered with Capitol Music Group and will set up base camp in their Hollywood location. Also included is a newly constructed studio that will serve as the future creative headquarters for mau5trap.
- Last week we learned about the upcoming Deadmau5 movie cameo to take place in “Runner, Runner” starring Justin Timberlake.
