With all of his “beef” with Afrojack now in the past, deadmau5 is starting to focus on music and only music. He maybe starting to feel the side effects of his breakup with Kat Von D because his uploads are sounding a lot more emotional, along with his tweets. I guess an unhappy mau5 means a productive mau5 because in the last twenty-four hours Joel has dished out five records on SoundCloud. One finished, one semi-finished, and three work-in-progress’.
He kicked off his binge with “Entschuldigen Sie” which means “Sorry” in German. Many people think this record is a message to Kat Von D considering she is of German descent, but I’m still unsure. Regardless, he quickly followed up with “anywhere up here”, “anywhere down there”, “going nowhere fast”, and “somewhere up here”. Honestly I like the direction that Zimmerman is going, emotional music has always been my favorite. I’m positive we’ll be hearing a lot more music soon as Joel slaves away in the studio with a full length album in mind.
