Deadmau5 will be unhooked (without the cube) when he spins at his new home, Hakkasan Nightclub at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The residency is set to start this April and will also include dates at the WET REPUBLIC Ultra Pool. Deadmau5 joins Tiesto, Calvin Harris and Steve Aoki at the new mega-club that’s redefining club life in Las Vegas and around the the world.
“With all the projects I have going on right now, I’m so excited to be back in Vegas doing what I love to do best,” says deadmau5.
It’s no surprise that Deadmau5 was the next superstar dj to join the roster at Hakkasan. We received information that he would be the next announcement after the Steve Aoki residency was confirmed.
The dj’s at Hakkasan represent the most powerful names in dance music. They all break through the barrier of being limited to just dance music and have real mainstream appeal. The average person will have much more knowledge of who Calvin Harris compared to someone like Axwell or Fedde Le Grand.
Rumors for who could be next include Skrillex (signed to Light Nightclub), Avicii (non-exclusive with dates at Marquee and XS).
