Many fans would agree that one of the most notable aspects of Deadmau5′ music is the way in which he presents it in a live setting. In addition to revealing a few months ago that he would be embarking on a massive 2014 tour, Deadmau5 also announced that he would be revamping his already elaborate stage setup, fittingly nicknamed “The Cube”. Some of these improvements have already been made, such as the “Mau5Bots”, which were debuted during a performance in Vegas, and have since become a key feature of his shows. Joel [Deadmau5] has also been doing some interesting work in collaboration with Microsoft, of which he has been uploading periodic teasers on his Instagram.
Yesterday, Joel returned to Twitter briefly to share some pictures of these Microsoft prototypes, which appear to be large touch screen surfaces that function as controllers. With several international performance dates scheduled in the near future (in locations such as Australia, and India), Joel has expressed that he plans to test out the new equipment at these upcoming gigs. By the looks of it, Deadmau5 fans will definitely be in for an unparalleled experience, with a phenomenal stage production fitting of all the new music soon to be released!
