Deadmau5 has done a really great job of staying away from Twitter to focus on his forthcoming album and the production for the tour that will accompany it, among other things. That is until today, when the mau5 was forced to re-engaged himself and speak out publicly about high ticket prices for one of his upcoming gigs.
On Friday, January 3rd, 2014 Deadmau5 has an “Unhooked” show booked at the New City Gas venue in Montreal. Ticket prices were set at $100 with a high service charge of 17$. Apparently Joel was unaware of this which resulted in a steady flow of not-so-positive tweets. However, within four hours of his first tweet Zimmerman managed come up with a solution, we applaud him. I doubt that this incident will result in our beloved mau5 fully rejoining twitter, we can hope though. I have to admit that my timeline hasn’t been the same without him.
