Over the last couple days, rumors have swirled around the internet that EDM superstars deadmau5, Daft Punk, and Skrillex agreed to a 2014 world tour. While this idea is a fantasy of all dance music fans, deadmau5 put an end to the rumors via his Twitter and Facebook pages
Anything is possible if we consider the recent mammoth collaboration tour of Jay-Z and Justin Timberlake or the upcoming tour of Tiesto and Calvin Harris.
In addition to a financial disaster, it could also be a special effects overload when we take into account the extravagant stages required for each artist. Skrillex’s “Mothership”, deadmau5’s “Cube” and Daft Punk’s “Pyramid”, are massively difficult to put together, and for this tour each artist’s stage would be even more lavish and technical than the ones previously mentioned.
But we can still dream, right?
