We have been counting down to the final countdown of 2018, with plans to ring in the New Year at one of top holiday festivals to attend, Decadence in Arizona at the Rawhide Event Center. The two day festival has already released their daily lineup, both boasting of artists that have been killing it in 2018, such as Anti Up, Green Velvet, Rezz, San Holo, and many others. You can check out the breakdown here. An artist that we are definitely excited to catch is Phoenix, Arizona native Blossom.
The girl behind the pink bob is Emilie Fromm, an electronica sweetheart that can stir up dance moves out of anyone in the room. Her hair alone perfectly emulates the passion and bubbling energy behind her music which has caught our eyes within the past two years. Always destined to make music, she started on violin and viola at just two years old and continued on into orchestra for the following 12 years. Like many of us, Fromm fell in love with the EDM scene at her first music festival, realizing that throwing a dance party at the decks with loads of music lovers like herself was her calling. After building her skill through the Dubspot program in L.A., she really got people’s attention with her mix submission sent into Global Dance Fest in AZ. Her first major remix of Goldlink’s “Spectrum” back in 2016 got the likes of Dr. French, SayMyName, and Two Owls to show support. Her next remix of Russo’s “Skanker” landed her on Ghastly’s 2016 Diplo and Friends Mix and it has only gone up from there. Blossom has played at Arizona Festival favorites such as Global, Phoenix Lights, Decadence, Wet Electric, and Goldrush and has shared the stage with many industry heavy hitters such as AC Slater, Kill The Noise, Deorro, and Steve Aoki.
Just in 2018, she has really made waves with joining AC Slater’s Night Bass Freshmen Class Vol. 1 with her single, “Go”, a bouncing future house track that still holds onto an electronica touch, that has really pushed her into the ears of many fans of the label. Soon after she partnered up with rising AZ native for BIJOU for another Night Bass release, “Expert”, which takes on more of her darker, experimental side while still having that rebelliously fun flavor. Fromm hasn’t stopped there and has dropped her most recent single, “Dangerous”, showcasing her skills of that banging bass house mantra she has grown into her style. Keeping her skills on par and grassroots approach to growing her fan outreach, the young producer has also curated her very own weekly “Happy Camper” livestream.
Blossom is sure to throw one hell of a party to send us off into the New Year, we recommend you join us on Sunday, December 30th. Keep an eye out for new releases, such as her latest single, “Call Me”, due to drop this Friday, as well as an upcoming EP. You can check out some of her latest tracks below. If you are still in need of some tickets to wrap up your 2018 with sparkling lights, fire music, and your closest rave family, you can scope out options here. We can’t wait to cheers you all at the stroke of midnight and finish out 2018 strong.
