DEMUR is back to light the bass streets on fire. He’s the mysterious, rebellious Los Angeles artist who made headlines with his controversial art criticizing cookie-cutter DJs before he even released his first song. DEMUR challenges the mainstream, copycat DJs and ghost producers (see his artwork Dutch Cloning Factory) to bring originality to the creative dance music scene gone stagnant. And now, he’s returned to bring us a new track with the trap queens and DJ duo, Duelle.
The new bass-heavy collab by DEMUR & Duelle, called “Streets on Fire”, blends trap and garage rock in a new, dark twist of haunting bass. Along with the 1940s totalitarian propaganda theme of bombs and gas masks, DEMUR brings his crunchy and industrial, speaker pulsing sounds over the ominous vocals of the Italian sister duo, Duelle.
“Streets on Fire” is available for download on BitTorrent Now. The free bundle also includes DEMUR’s custom artwork and all of his back catalogue, including his never released remix of Deadmau5’s Some Chords.
