Dirty South caught the internet off guard last weekend at Ultra, dropping a new ID that is like other tracks he’s produced in the past, which is exactly why fans have been freaking out about it.
Admittedly, the single does touch on the old-school progressive sounds that initially got Dirty South famous.
From then till now, Dirty South has tackled some serious milestones. Ultra 2015 showed the world the sheer numbers that Dirty South has by his side. With this new ID out, it’s looking like this story with be taking a brand-new, yet familiar, path in the next coming months.
The online chatter about the ID has been overwhelmingly positive. After Ultra, Dirty South went on to confirm that the ID he dropped was, in fact, something new he’d been working on, which naturally fueled the discussion and positivity around the situation more so.

Dirty South’s last album was “With You,” which has gained massive support for it’s unique mixture of various genres with an dance music/radio friendly core. “With You,” wasn’t received poorly by fans by any means, but, on the flip side, seeing this new ID has sparked a new flame in veterans and have new fans curious.
Check out Dirty South’s Ultra set in it’s entirety, which features the ID, and keep an eye out for an update on DS’s new music here at WRR.
