HighLight Releases Trap Version of DVBBS’ “We Were Young” [WRR Premiere]

Trap music is still very much alive in the electronic dance music scene. This weekend saw a slew of trap outfits performing at Moonrise Music Festival in Baltimore, Maryland. In short, whoever said that the sub-genre would die out was just flat-out wrong. There will always be, on some level, a demand for this type of party music. With that in mind HighLight hit us up last week and we talked about premiering his latest remix on the site. His idea was a cut of DVBBS’ “We Were Young” and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to dish it out first. Once Chris and Alex Andre get their ears on this joint it’ll become a staple in their sets.
