EDC Orlando celebrates their 10 year anniversary with one of its biggest lineups yet! With a lineup leading up to the festival, we’ll be showcasing some of our must-see artists for this year’s fest! This week we’ll be putting Swedish super duo Galantis under the spotlight!
Christian Karlsson, aka Bloodshy, and Linus Eklöw, aka Style of Eye combined, are what we now know as the accomplished duo’s groundbreaking work, Galantis. Representing a world where electronic dance music meets pop, the project showcases that emotion and musicianship can coexist with what Eklöw calls “a really, really big kind of vibe.”
After an exhilarating live show during their prime-time slot at Coachella in 2014 Galantis quickly became the talk of the town. An online poll from Billboard magazine found Galantis shattering the competition for Best Dance Music Moment at Coachella.
From then on Galantis released hit after hit like “Smile” which became a dancefloor staple internationally.
Galantis has debuted three albums filled with some of the hottest tracks in today’s music scene. They’ve played amongst heavy hitters on mainstages all around the world spreading the message that love is love, no matter what you look like- the idea behind their “Sea Fox” mascot featured across their cover art and live shows.
