Zedd‘s remix of Empire Of The Sun’s ‘Alive’ resides in the realm of electro house. When I pressed play on the preview I was surprised to hear some dutch like influences in his track. The vocal edits and bleeps remind me of an Afrojack production, but they are backed by the quick paced grimy stabs that Zedd,the electro-house star, is known for.
After the build and the second drop, the track turns into an uplifting sing-a-long evoking masterpiece. Although I’ve only heard this two minute and thirty one second preview, I have to say that this remix has the potential to be my favorite track that Zedd has released.
