After debuting in the Summer of 2015, Bonnie X Clyde quickly showed that they were a powerful duo ready to take the scene by storm. With the DJ/producer/vocalist tag team releasing successful track after track, their coined genre “vocal bass” took off briskly. After debuting “The Ride” and following up with “Rise Above“, Insomniac Records took notice of the two and swiftly struck a licensing deal after they secured 2 million+ streams from these tracks alone.
Continuing into 2016 with the same relentless force, they found themselves playing direct support for acts like Skrillex and performing at festivals, such as Life In Color Miami. These shows lead to embarking on a 10 stop tour titled “Gunshine State Tour”. These shows didn’t slow down production though, as hits like “When It Hurts“, “Worth It“, and “Closer” were released. As fall/winter grew near, the stars made their way to various festivals and nightclubs around the country, such as Nocturnal Wonderland, Life Is Beautiful, EDC Orlando, and LIC Fresno. You can expect an end of the year bang with a performance at Insomniac’s highly anticipated New Year’s Eve event, Countdown.
