When I was first introduced to Minnesota by a friend, my first thoughts were “Yea I fucks with this for sure”- expecting you to feel the same way if this happens to be one personal Minnesota cherry popping audio experience.
Now don’t get me wrong, he gets ecstatically bass heavy in some other tracks, however here, he mellows out the bass and focuses nicely on the vocal treble. I would classify this more as electro soul rather than dubstep.
The dude is from Cali and has made his epic strides mostly through soundcloud. He has done opening sets for larger producers, is on the Electric Forest bill, and is consistently gaining attention. Take more of a listen and jump on his shit now or you may never be hipster material.
