Just like he told me in our interview – Figure randomly drops a new single on us in anticipation for the new EP he is currently putting the final touches on. I could try to explain his purpose, however I think his words do the track the most justice:
This speech captures the very essence of whats going on right now all over the world… more so now than ever. I wanted a way to use the sample during my live set, so I took Charlie Chaplin s speech from “The Great Dictator” and made a song around it.
Message music from the man who makes his first appearance at Red Rocks today, where our team is in attendance for Global Dance Festival. As Figure continues to create sound supremely unique to his own, we look forward to the themes he incorporates throughout his music in the future.
