It is very clear that R3HAB has flawlessly mastered the art of remixing, in the span of eleven days he has released four full length previews. On the first record the Dutch master teams up with ZROQ and adds his signature bleeps and wobbles to Enrique Iglesias‘ ‘Finally Found You’, you can clearly hear their sound’s blend seamlessly. Then he effortlessly pumps electro in to Meital and Sean Kingston‘s ‘On Ya’ making it a future club banger, the opening melodies compliment the vocals and lead directly into a powerful build up ending with a crunchy drop.
Just when you thought ‘it can’t get any better than this’, R3HAB releases a remix of Cherry Cherry Boom Boom’s ‘One And Only’. This record has a heavy pop influence over the vocals but don’t be fooled, the drop is yet another R3HAB classic. Finally for his most recent production he joins forces with ZROQ yet again, they blend their sound together and completely rework Havana Brown‘s ‘You’ll Be Mine’. You will hear the uplifting melody that sits under Brown’s emotive vocals transform in to a dark, deep, heavy synth blast.
I’m a huge fan of R3HAB and ZROQ’s collaborations, their styles mashed together brings a unique sound to the table. Below the first player I’ve added a snippet of ‘Michael Woods & Esther Dean – We’ve Only Just Begun (R3hab & ZROQ Remix)‘. These tracks should be out soon, but for now waste no more time and indulge yourself in music.
