Fox Stevenson has released Sunk Cost Fallacy, his second full-length album and a fully independent effort, now available via UKF’s Pilot imprint. Written, produced, sung, and mastered entirely by Stevenson, the album delivers a direct and personal approach that doesn’t lean on trends or filler.
Spanning 14 tracks, the record moves between electronic production, alternative-pop structure, and punk-influenced energy. “YAS” and “Tryhard” lean upbeat and rhythmic, while “Told You So” and “One Horse Town” shift into quieter, more reflective space. There’s movement across the tracklist, but nothing feels out of place.
Several of these tracks have already lived in Stevenson’s live set. Others arrived in a slower rollout that included playlist support from Apple Music, Spotify, and SoundCloud. Prior to the announcement, Stevenson launched a password-protected puzzle on his website that led fans to a livestream reveal. 450+ vinyl and merch bundles sold out within hours, pushing the album to the top of Bandcamp’s charts across all genres.
Fox Stevenson has never relied on momentum from the outside. What makes Sunk Cost Fallacy notable is how little it tries to announce itself. The work speaks clearly. No excess. No imitation. Just a focused release from an artist who knows exactly what he’s making—and who he’s making it for.
