The Glitch Mob Amps Up Metallica With “Lords Of Summer” Remix [Free Download]

Many artists today can only dream of collaborating with the people who have influenced them to become music superstars of their own. But the L.A. trio known as The Glitch Mob got a special opportunity to work with a band who has influenced heavy sounding music for the last 30 years: Metallica.

The Mob has added their signature glitchy sound to the latest Metallica track entitled “Lords of the Summer.” Ferocious synths lay a top the heavy bassline in which the trio has become famous for. Lead singer James Hetfield’s chilling vocals work perfectly over this monster of a track.

The X Games have taken notice of this amazing remix and have made it the 2015 X Games official anthem. The Glitch Mob and Metallica are both slated to perform at this year’s event in Austin, TX.
