The Glowfest WVU Lineup:
Porter Robinson
20 year old electro phenom. Porter Robinson is signed to Skrillex’s label OWSLA and has erupted over the course of the last year. His big break came when he opened for Tiesto on his College Invasion Tour in 2011, and has since become one of the biggest names in American edm.
Bingo Players
Bingo Players consists of the two Dutch producers Paul Baümer & Maarten Hoogstraten. Uplifting electro house for non stop dance parties. I consider Bingo Players to be severely underrated, but their festival record speaks for itself. Most recently they took stages at Electric Zoo, EDC Vegas, and Ultra to name a few.
Zedd
Zedd has been branded as an edm prodigy. He has generated conversation on every large publication you can think of. Spin docked him as “The best way to cure an EDM hater” while Billboard and the NY Times have also weighed in with high regard. ‘Spectrum’, in my opinion, has been the best release of this entire year.
Paper Diamond
Pretty Lights Music and Mad Decent artist Paper Diamond is a musical aficionado, especially when it comes to electronic dance music. The Elm & Oak headman has been releasing tracks lately without any sub-genre ruts. Challenging the limits of his own production, PD strives to give the fans a chance to experience a variety of sounds and ranging bpm’s. Take it from me when I say it’s worked so far. This track is older, but can never get played enough.
Krewella
Two girls, one guy, and as much Jameson as you can provide. Krewella has had a major break out in the last 6 months. Composed of beatmaker Rainman and vocalists Yasmine and Jahan Yousaf, Krewella is on the helm of exploding. WVU feel very lucky to have them on the bill and expect a raging dance party.
