Currently out for release on Sailor Music is “Vanilla,” the new record from pop artist Hanne Mjøen. Carving out a follow up to her previous single “Future,” once again she sounds utterly brilliant. With some tropical and electronica influences peppered throughout the track, the focus is mainly on Mjøen’s super sweet vocals and subtle grooves.
“Vanilla’ is in many ways a synonym for something ordinary and boring,” the artist explains. “So the song is really about wishing for more of what’s good and exciting.”
