This past weekend, Hard Summer came, saw, and conquered Los Angeles. Making it’s monumental return back to the heart of Los Angeles, Hard Summer was filled with amazing production, beautiful vibes, and the best of the best in today’s music scene. Taking place over the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Exposition Park, and BMO Stadium, we’re hoping Hard Summer has now found it’s forever home.
This year’s lineup featured monumental B2B sets from Kaskade and John Summit, Diplo and BLOND:ISH, Skrillex and Four Tet, and many more. The super-reunion of HARD alumni continued with the inimitable Boys Noize, LA’s own outrageous Dillon Francis, and the chart-topping tones of Gorgon City. And of course Hip Hop legends like Fat Joe and Ludacris, along with special guests 21 Savage and Kid Cudi.
We had an amazing time at Hard Summer this year and we’re so happy that it’s back in downtown Los Angeles. It was so impressive seeing how well the venue was used, with the Green Stage being perfectly placed into the coliseum, and the purple stage being placed in the BMO stadium. The Hard, Harder, and Pink stages were all conveniently placed around the other festival stages, which made it an easy and enjoyable walk from set to set. We were blessed with great weather, music, and vibes all weekend.
We really hope to see Hard Summer return back to this same venue next year!
